We believe that the Holy Bible contains the written words of God and the absolute truths about God. We hold God’s Word as the supreme authoritative, and the infallible revelation of God’s will. They are the standard of character, the test of experience, the definitive revealer of doctrines and the trustworthy record of God’s acts in history (Ps.119-105),(Prov 30:5,6), (Isa 8:20), (John 17:17),(1Theses 2:13),(2Tim 3:16,17),(Heb 4:12),(2 Peter 1:20,21)
We believe that Jesus Christ is the Way, the Truth, and the Life (John 14:6); the Son of the living God (Matthew 16:16).
We believe that Christ is the Word of God made flesh, that in the beginning the Word was with God, the Word was in God therefore the Word was God. That same Word was made flesh and He dwelt among man. (John 1:1); God spoke and His Word created all of creation (John 1:3), God placed His Word inside Mary’s borrowed womb so that His Word could grow into human flesh, a baby, a boy, a son, (Luke 1:30-31); He would be called the Son of the Most High God’s (Luke 1:32) because God’s son (the Word) came from inside of God; the evident that Jesus Christ is the Son of the living God (Matthew 16:15, 17).
We believe that God is a creator, that God created the invisible and all of the visible worlds; galaxies, universes, and planets including planet earth “in the beginning” (Gen 1:1) (Colossians 1:16)
We believe that God wanted to influence the visible world that He had created from the invisible dimension of His Kingdom called the Kingdom of Heaven, (Matthew 6:10)
We believe the earth like the other planets were without form and the earth was void and darkness covered it from space all the way down to the deepest waters (Gen 1:2).
We believe that God renovated the earth by His Word (who later became Christ) and spoke everything upon the earth into existence, (Gen1:1-2:4) except humans.
We believe God formed the body of Man out of dirt and God breathed His breath of life into man’s body releasing His Spirit, His DNA into the dirt body humus (Latin for human) and the human became a living being /soul (possessing a free will, intellect) (Gen2:27)
We believe that God created “Man” (a spirit being) in His own image and in His likeness. God created them male and female, He created he (the spirit “Man”) them; (both in one) “(let us make Man”) (Genesis 1:26).
We believe God is a Spirit (John 4:24) therefore “Man” is a spirit because he was created in God’s image and in God’s likeness. (So, Man looks just like Father God)
The species God called “Man” is a spirit being like God (Gen1:26). and spirit has no body as God has no body. God does not need a body because He does not dwell on earth. However, every spirit that dwells on earth must have a body, either a male body or a female body; modeled after (Adam) male body, and (EVE) female body created by God’s Standard. The spirit “Man” is placed within the earthly body, called (flesh) at conception and grows into a human being. The earthly home is the dwelling place of the spirit “Man” while residing here on earth.
we believe
God is Omnipotent; having all power and can do anything He wants without needing anything outside of Himself.
God is Omnipresent; He is present everywhere in the universe at the same time.
God is Omniscient; He has infinite wisdom and knowledge and understands all complexities of study and activity.
God is Holy, He is distinct from His creation:
God is just and fair and impartial in dealing with people.
God is merciful and is willing to forgive those who repent.
God is love; He wove love into the fabric of His creation.
God is sovereign, having absolute authority and unrestricted in His supremacy. He exercises His rule through His authority as King. His control over all things and His presence with His covenantal people, and throughout His creation.
God is absolute truth, everything God says or does is true regardless of circumstances. God truth does not depend on human opinion and it applies to everyone, everywhere, all the time.
God is faithful. God faithfulness is a characteristic; that means He is unchanging in His nature. He is true to His Word, and will keep His promises forever.
God is unchanging, wise, that before the foundation of the worlds, God set the standard for humanity and His creation (Gen 1:1-28) Gen 2:21-25) (Gen 1:27-28) (Exode: 20: 1-17) Leviticus 19:1-37). Anything outside of God’s divine order, will, and standard for His creation, God calls detestable/ an abomination (Leviticus 20:1-29)
We believe that God’s wonderfully and immutably creation of “Man’ continues even now with His creation of each person as male or female. That these two distinct, complementary genders together reflect the image and nature of
God and His divine purpose for His creation. (Gen 1:26-27.) Rejection of one’s biological sex is a rejection of the image of God within that person.
We believe that the term “marriage” has only one meaning: the uniting of one man and one woman in a single, exclusive union, as delineated in Scripture. (Gen 2:18-25.)
We believe that God intends sexual intimacy to occur only between a man and a woman who are married to each other. (1 Corinthians 6:18; 7:2-5; Hebrews 13:4.) We believe that God has commanded that no intimate sexual activity be engaged in outside of a marriage between a man and a woman.
We believe that any form of sexual immorality (including adultery, fornication, homosexual behavior, bisexual conduct, bestiality, incest, and use of pornography) is sinful and offensive to God. (Matt 15:18-20; 1 Corinthians 6:9-10.)
We believe that in order to preserve the function and integrity of Children of Christ as the local Body of Christ, and to provide a biblical role model for our children; Children of Christ Ministries, Schools, and Programs, its members, constituents, and community know that, it is imperative that all persons employed by Children of Christ Ministries; nationally or internationally, in any capacity, or who serve as volunteers, or who enroll as students or who enroll their children agree to and abide by our Statement of faith and our beliefs on Marriage, Gender, and Sexuality as mandated by the God of whom we serve and to whom we answer to. (Matt 5:16; Phil 2:14-16; 1 Thessalonians 5:22.)
We believe that God offers redemption and restoration to all who confess and forsake their sin, seeking His mercy and forgiveness through His son Jesus Christ. (Acts 3:19-21; Rom 10:9-10; 1 Corinthians 6:9-11.)
